It's uncharacteristically cold in FL today... so of course it's the day for the premiere of the new Florida Wildlife Corridor documentary OUTSIDE. My mom and I braved the cold anyway and it was great. The premiere on PBS is scheduled for March 28th on WUSF . More info about the Florida Wildlife Corridor and how you can help here: www.floridawildlifecorridor.org/ and links to previous coverage about the expedition here: wusfnews.wusf.usf.edu/post/florida-wildlife-corridor-docu....

J CHURCH - "Winter Comes Again"

In the end, winter comes again
and I won't allow myself to entertain last season's morbid thoughts.
She's waiting in the rain. He said, "Meet me by the train."
"This Christmas time we're gonna get away."

Turn the key. Open the door.
You won't have to see my face anymore.
Fading like the snow to rain...
Turn the key. Open the door.
You won't have to see my face anymore.
Fading like the snow to rain...

With criminal inexperience, he fails at the locked door.
Through the window, he's triggering alarm codes...
Instead of gifts for his love he gets a bullet in the chest.
He tries to recall her face as his socks are damp with blood.

Turn the key. Open the door.
You won't have to see my face anymore.
Fading like the snow to rain...
Turn the key. Open the door.
You won't have to see my face anymore.
Fading like the snow to rain...

Winter comes again. Father Christmas, drunk on gin,
can't bring himself to face the world again.
