Travel is full of crowded corridors.
TED LEO AND THE PHARMACISTS - "The Northeast Corridor"
You can stretch your arm out,
and you can keep your people at that length for as long as they'll stay.
And you can't tell everyone everything,
and not everyone needs or wants to hear everything anyway.
But for me, it's alright --
I can wait until the end of the night.
So when I tell ya four and four makes eight,
and ya tell me that haste is gonna make you waste,
just remember not to lock the garden gate,
'cause I'm comin' when ya call,
but I'm four hours away.
But for me, it's alright --
I can wait until the end of the night;
and for you, it's o.k. --
everyone's gonna tell ya what they wanna hear anyway.
You can stretch your arm out,
and you can keep your people at that length for as long as they'll stay.
And you can't tell everyone everything,
and not everyone needs or wants to hear everything anyway.
But for me, it's alright --
I can wait until the end of the night.
So when I tell ya 4+4=8,
and ya tell me that haste is gonna make us waste,
just remember not to lock the garden gate,
'cause I'm comin' when ya call,
but I'm 4 hours away.
But for me, it's alright --
I can wait until the end of the night;
and for you, it's o.o. --
everyone's gonna tell ya what they wanna hear anyway.
