When this photo was taken, JTE was telling a story about Townes Van Zandt & Guy Clark at a hotel when they ran out of whiskey (Southern Comfort?). Townes called down to the bar for them to send up some more and was told the bar was closed at which point he allegedly threatened to burn down the place unless the whiskey appeared - and, of course, it did. He's definitely a storyteller.
